The I-Net Kid's Club Awards Center

Awards We Have Won

There are currently two awards that the I-Net Kid's Club is awarding to deserving Websites: The "Bearhug Award", and our "Award of Excellence". The Bearhug Award is a cute jpg file, awarded to sites that are 100% for kids. No "adult stuff" at all, and completely safe. Anyone who takes the time to create such a site on the Web, deserves a hug! Our Award of Excellence is much harder to get, and requires a site that has had a good amount of effort put into it... well, you can read for yourself the qualifications for both these awards. Below, the two awards are fully described. Near the bottom of the page, is a form for you to submit your site (or a site you have enjoyed) for either award. Thanks!

The I-Net Kid's Club "Bearhug Award"

The I-Net Kid's Club Bearhug Award is awarded to sites which meet the following criteria:

• The nominated site must be for "kids only", and safe for them.
• It must provide something for the children other than just links. Links-only sites will not be awarded.
• The site must have free access.
• The award must be linked back to the I-Net Kid's Club.

All nominated sites will be visited by the Club Manager; winners will receive their notifications via email, with the address where to get their award picture.

Bearhug Award Winners

The I-Net Kid's Club "Award of Excellence"

The I-Net Kid's Club Award of Excellence is awarded to sites which meet the following criteria:

• The nominated site must be safe for all children.
• It must provide entertainment and/or educational materials for children - it cannot be just a "links" page.
• There can be no broken links/pictures, and it must have a pleasing appearance - not just a bunch of words (the site doesn't have to look "professional", but as if some effort were put into it).
• The site must have free access, without excessive advertising.
• The site must not have any links to sites that are not Kid Safe.
• There must be an available email link to either the owner or webmaster for feedback.
• The award must be linked back to the I-Net Kid's Club.

Once per month, the ClubManager of The I-Net Kid's Club will search the net and select a winner for this award; this site will be fully described in that month's I-Net Kid's Club Newsletter. However, other sites may be nominated at any time. All winners will be listed in the Monthly Newsletter of the month they win the award. Any winner's site may be described in the Newsletter, as well - we can do more than one per month!
